Studying the historical background of Domaine Porto Carras, we focused on the key features of the vineyard’s location as well as the winery itself. A state-of-the-art winery capable of producing high-quality raw material for wine of corresponding excellence. We aimed to highlight this iconic Bauhaus building designed by the German-American architect Walter Gropius, as the “key” to the creation of impeccable products, leveraging its architectural style, which stems from a highly influential school that plays a significant role in the field of design.

The Porto Carras logo draws inspiration from the estate's rich history, architectural heritage, and unique landscape. Villa Galini, an iconic landmark overlooking the Aegean Sea and surrounded by lush nature, has long been a sanctuary for distinguished figures, including Salvador DalĂ, who famously stayed in the villa and gifted artworks to the estate. For nearly 50 years, the villa has hosted influential personalities from the worlds of art, politics, and culture.

The logo's design embraces the clean lines and geometric forms of the Bauhaus movement, reflecting the estate's modern yet timeless character. The linear structure of the vineyards, which stretch across the slopes of Mount Meliton, is subtly integrated into the design, echoing the natural order and symmetry of the landscape. By replacing the traditional Bauhaus circle with an oval shape, the logo maintains a distinctive identity, capturing the harmony between architecture, nature, and the art of winemaking at Porto Carras.
